I took my first stab at writing at age 6, hand-writing a nearly 100-page story about the drama between family of dinosaurs. There has not been a year since that I have not engulfed myself in my writing, composing many other stories throughout my elementary years, taking every Honors English and creative writing class I could, relishing every research paper and essay I was assigned, pouring out thousands of poems and dozens of short stories. From the moment I could read and write, I became passionate about the written language and that love has never faded.
I am a writer. I am a professional storyteller. I am a creator. And I love what I do.
I attended San Diego State University and received my BA in Journalism/Communications with minors in Psychology and Political Science Theory. I graduated Cum Laude and with Honors, being a member of Lambda Pi Eta Honors Society, along with other clubs and volunteer groups during my years in college.
I excel at communication, especially the written language.
I have experience developing and fully executing inbound and outbound marketing strategies for B2C and B2B businesses, which include e-mail marketing, social media marketing, SEO optimization, PPC campaigns, PR, blogging, marketing collateral creation and other forms of traditional and online marketing. I have approximately 10 years of management experience, as well as experience writing and editing for professional publications, most notably, the San Diego Union-Tribune.

I have lived in New Jersey, Arizona, Northern California and Southern California, where I currently reside. I have proudly lived in San Diego County for more than 10 years.

When I’m not working or writing, I enjoy spending time with friends and loved ones, going on walks with my dogs, reading books/magazines/news articles, watching good movies, traveling to new places, exercising, watching sports, baking yummy foods, going to the beach and meeting new people.

I dream about writing for The New York Times or being a marketing manager for large non-profit organizations. Eventually, I plan to write novels.

First and foremost, I am a writer. I was a lucky kid, in the sense that I always knew that my calling was to be a writer. And my dream came true: I have been a published and professional writer and editor for around 10 years. As a freshman in high school, I reached a typing speed of 120 words per minute, which has stayed consistent throughout the years.
